CHILD SAFETY STATEMENT
FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you all enjoyed the beautiful sunshine last weekend. Mother Nature really came up with something special for Mother's Day. Sadly it didn't hang around for long enough.
Last Friday our two soccer teams represented St. Patrick's at the Moyne Soccer Competition. Our girls team were the victors and proudly brought back a very fancy soccer ball as a trophy. The boys did very well, winning and drawing their games.
This Friday we wish our Division Cross Country competitors well at the course in Warrnambool. Then we will turn our focus to the Moyne Winter Sports on June 1st.
Catholic Education Week begins on May 22nd with the theme "Let the words you speak always be full of Grace." Our Year 6 students will attend the Emmanuel College production "Frozen Junior" with year 6 students from other Warrnambool Network Schools.
Thank you to the team of parents who organised the Mother's Day Breakfast and the dads who worked in the kitchen. What a great community of volunteers we have. Don't forget to book your table at the famously fabulous Quiz Night being held on June 16.

MOYNE SOCCER
Last Friday, 12th May, a group of Year 5/6 students went down to Southcombe Park oval to participate in the Moyne District soccer competition. This was a busy day with a boys and a girls team playing 5 matches each across the day. The boys team won 3 matches, lost 1 and drew 1. While the girls team won 3 and drew 3, taking them into the grand final where they played St Patrick's Koroit. The game was played in great spirits with our boys team cheering the whole time. The girls ended up scoring a couple of goals to win the match, and win the competition.
They now have the option to go to the next level to play off against the Warrnambool schools. This will be at a later date.
