CHILD SAFETY STATEMENT

FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Parents and Carers,
Harmony Day last week was a great cultural community experience for the children. Thank you to Hamish and his staff for hosting a Mexican lunch and talking to the students about the Mexican culture.
Five of our students represented our school at the Greater Western Region Swimming Competition on Wednesday. They all did very well. Thank you to the parents who drove them to Hamilton.
The Year 2 class visited the Port Fairy Library on Wednesday to enjoy story time. The library is a great resource for our community. Year 1s will be visiting next week as well.
A large group of students are heading to the Moyne Athletics tomorrow (Friday) to compete in a range of events. We wish them well.

NEW QUIET PLAY AREA DURING ASSEMBLIES

New Quiet Play Area During Assemblies
To ensure our assemblies run smoothly and without distractions, we are opening the back room in the hall as a designated quiet play area for younger children. This space will allow little ones to play quietly while still being part of the school community, helping to maintain focus for the students presenting. We kindly ask that parents supervise their children in this area and encourage quiet activities. This space is to be left neat and tidy. Thank you for your support in making our assemblies a positive experience for everyone!
