CHILD SAFETY STATEMENT
FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Parents and Carers,
The disco last Friday night was a big hit by all accounts from both students and parents. Thank you to the parents who coordinated the event and to those who attended to supervise. The photos looked amazing! It was fantastic to hear that all of the children behaved well and in particular that our senior students made sure that everyone was included and had fun. Great leadership senior students!
Next Monday and Tuesday we will have an External Review Panel visiting to review our school's last 5 Year Strategic Plan and assist us to develop a new Strategic Plan. The panel will consist of an external educational reviewer nominated by DOBCEL, the Education Consultant for the Southern Zone and the Principal from St Mary's in Hamilton.
Year 3-6 students are invited to participate in the Music Festival Choir at the Spring Music Festival being held on October 13/14/15. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience being a member of a large adult/children's choir backed by a Symphony Orchestra. Rehearsals dates and times will be communicated closer to the end of term. Please encourage your child/ren to participate.
Olga Lyons (Principal)
