Child Safety Statement
From the Principal
Dear Parents and Carers,
What beautiful weather we're having this week!
Term 1 is our busiest term for fundraising events and the term that provides us with the best returns for our efforts. We still require volunteers to help with tasks over the Folk Festival weekend. If you have a few spare hours please contact the office or Bree Porter, our Parents & Friends President.
With the start of the Season of Lent in the Church, we are reminded of the love of God that is poured out through Christ Jesus on the cross in His death and resurrection, that brings the hope of Eternal Life to all of humanity. Lent occurs over the 4 weeks leading up to Easter. It is a time to reflect on our human faults and failings.

We will be doing our best to help clean up our community. We have provided a link for you to donate to the Clean Up Australia Day Foundation. Any donation helps to ensure we are keeping our environment as clean as possible.
Weekly News - Art
‘Welcome to the Jungle’ is our theme this term in the art room. Each class is very busy working on a major animal art piece. Soon you will see our walls filled with funky gorillas inspired by the very cool artist Mulga, created by our senior students. The middle year classes are using their wonderful line skills to design bright jungle beetles while the junior students are learning all about colour and using their new skills to paint lions, monkeys and snakes.
Through their artwork students are learning interesting information about their animals' habitat, physical features and diet.
Keep an eye out as we will be sharing our masterpieces with the school community via social media soon.
