CHILD SAFETY STATEMENT
FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome Back for Term 2. I hope that families had a chance to enjoy the beautiful weather over Easter and had a good rest from the busyness of early mornings, school lunches and uniforms.
The students have settled calmly into routine and are enjoying the company of their friends and teachers once again. There is a positive atmosphere floating around!
Our Year 6 students have been off site for two days working with the Social Innovators Team at Southcombe Park. They are designing Social Action projects that they will be working on throughout the term. I look forward to seeing what big ideas they come up with.
On Monday our staff attended their third ReLATE Professional Learning Day to focus on developing their self-care plans, self-regulating strategies and reflect on ways to enhance open communication and relational trust. These are important cultural aspects that make our school a great place to work and learn.

ANZAC DAY
This year the RSL committee are re-instating the ANZAC Day March and have invited the two local school to participate. All students and parents are invited to gather at the Old National Bank at 10.00am to march behind our school flag and our four school leaders. The school leaders will be in their school uniform, however other children can wear casual clothes.
The march will begin at 10.15am and progress along Sackville Street and Bank Street to the War Memorial at the Railway Green.
Our school leaders will join with the Consolidated school leaders to do a reading, act as flag marshalls and lay our school wreath.
We'd love to have as many children present to represent our school.
