CHILD SAFETY STATEMENT
FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you to all the parents for the wonderful Book Week dress up costumes last Friday. They were truly amazing!
Tomorrow morning we will be celebrating Father's Day and Special Person's Day with a breakfast served outdoors. There will be footballs and basketballs available for the visitors to play games with their children. Let's hope the weather holds. Thank you to the mums who are preparing the breakfast. I wish all dads a happy Father's Day on Sunday.
It was great to have so many parents join our Years 3-6 literacy lessons. The F-2 classrooms will be open for parents to come along next Wednesday morning from 9.00-10.00am.

PARENT ENGAGEMENT SESSION - READING
Thanks to the Year 3 - 6 parents for coming along and joining in our Literacy block on Wednesday. We hope you got an understanding of how our students are developing their reading and writing skills.
We are inviting parents to come into F-2 classrooms on Wednesday September 4th from 9.00am - 10.00am to view and learn about the Structured Literacy Program.
"Parent involvement in a child's education is consistently found to be positively associated with a child's academic performance."
Come and learn with your child and gain a first hand understanding of how we teach reading in a Structured Literacy classroom. Please SeeSaw your teacher/s if you will be attending.
