CHILD SAFETY STATEMENT
FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Parents and Carers,
Our 175th Anniversary weekend was a wonderful success. It was great to hear fond memories and see past student reunite as they poured over the memorabilia. There were many many comments about how beautiful our school is and what a credit it is to the current St Patrick's community.
Thank you to all who supported the events over the weekend. In particular I'd like to thank Maria Cameron for conducting the Cemetery Walk, Ben and Kylie Archbold for organising the drinks for the Saturday evening reception, Naomi Harman for the food, the staff and students for conducting the school tours on Saturday afternoon, Joe Ewing from Catholic Education for playing the keyboard at the mass, Antonia Balmer for playing guitar and organising the choir, Mary and Kent Moyle for providing the plants to decorate the hall, and the parents who managed the morning tea after mass. I'd like to sincerely thank Janine Moloney for all her assistance in the office and Laura Gramss for designing the advertising material.
As if the weekend wasn't busy enough, we then had over 100 grandparents visit us for Grandparents/Special Person's day. Thank you to Bree Porter and all the parents who cooked sausages and served the morning tea. It was a memorable day for all.
I will be in Horsham for Diocesan Leadership meetings on Thursday and Friday, so any queries can be directed to Tristan Fay.

BASKETBALL COURT RENOVATION
GREAT NEWS! Our long awaited basketball court renovation is set to start on November 18th (new date) and will be completed by November 27th (all going to plan). We have been fund raising for this for 3 years now so it's great to see that we are finally able to get it done. This has been an amazing effort by our wonderful P & F committee and families.
We need one last push with the Colour Run donations.
HOOPTIME
Last Monday, 21st of October, our Boys Year 3/4 basketball team participated in the Greater Western Region Hooptime Junior Primary School finals in Hamilton.
So a big well done and congratulations to the boys and thanks to Kristee, Renee and Regan for transporting and supporting. Thanks also to Radush Mohan for his coaching efforts with the team and Jae Leddin for her assistance on the day.

175TH ANNIVERSAY TIMELINE
Some of our students have produced a historical timeline over the 175 Years of Catholic Education at St Patrick's Primary School. Please take the time to view this video.
GRANDPARENT'S DAY
On Monday we celebrated Grandparent's Day. We had an amazing day with many grandparents and special friends joining us to to celebrate Grandparent's Day. The children showed their grandparents their classrooms and then gave them a tour of the school. The morning finished with a sausage sizzle and a liturgy in the hall.
Thank you to the P & F for providing and cooking the morning tea and sausage sizzle.
