CHILD SAFETY STATEMENT

FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Parents and Carers,
We can almost hear a collective sigh now that the Folk Festival is behind us but what a wonderful weekend it was! A huge thank you to the many volunteers who helped with the BBQ. A particular thank you to Bree Porter, Rhea Thomas, Janine Moloney, Caitlin Down and Anthony Leddin who were the team who did the organising, rostering, ordering and site management of the event. Thank you also to the Koroit St. Patrick's parents who joined us in the tent and to do the packing up.
Next Monday we will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day followed on Friday by Harmony Day. Please look out for details about these 2 days in the newsletter and through Seesaw. So get those green outfits ready for Monday.

CONFIDENCE & MOTIVATION

Building confidence and motivation in young people is essential for their development and overall wellbeing. Supporting these traits means encouraging your child to set realistic goals, celebrate their achievements and learn from setbacks. Confidence allows young people to believe in their abilities, face challenges with resilience and feel empowered in their decisions. Meanwhile, motivation drives them to pursue interests, strive for personal growth and stay engaged in school and other activities. By fostering a supportive environment at home, parents can help nurture these qualities, providing their children with the tools they need to navigate life's ups and downs and maintain a positive, proactive mindset.
